The Tumeth situation is interesting. No trials & not in tonight’s Cup trial as far as I know. Is he injured or is there more to this?
It would be good to payout Tumeth and upgrade Hope to top 30. From what I have seen of hope he is a much better prospect today than TDS and we need to win. I would run him at 14 to give Api a break and then I would run TDS and Latu full time in their preferred positions in Cup to develop.
It’d be an option but both Hope & TDS decent options off bench. Hope is 8 years older than TDS - he's hardly a "prospect". TDS has already shown good form at NRL level - he's not going to be overtaken by a journeyman on the basis of a couple of impressive 25 min stints in pre season.
Let's give Hope a proper run in NSW cup first
TDS described by Tim Sheens as one of the best prospects he's ever seen. I'm not jumping off the TDS train just yet. Slow start to the year for sure but he's a keeper. 9 next week, 14 after that for me.
Didn’t say he was a prospect Steve, just more forward than TDS who is very much in the development stage of his career. And I agree only seen 30 minutes or so of Hope but he’s grabbed it & shown he’s very handy. What I like most is his defence, made 1 less than TDS but missed none to TDS’s 5 missed. Different stages of the game but Hope is a matured footy player, physically in particular. I’d play both in that rd 1 game if I could but that’s not going to happen anyway so my hope (pun) is TDS does the job we believe he is capable of despite still being a teenager with plenty of room for improvement.Hope is 8 years older than TDS - he's hardly a "prospect".
