I wouldn’t be against Lodge’s signing with the club, I think his paid his penance for his absolute stupidity in the U.S.
And to think his only 26 years old that’s just about when a Prop starts maturing and hitting his strap’s for form/ability at an Nrl level,.
He also has the kind of aggression we have lacked for quite some time at WTs in our forward’s we need a JWH type in our pack, I think his style of play will be a good mix with what we have in Stefano, Musgrove going forward.

Controlling halfbacks are as precious as gold in the nrl.
Just see the difference Hastings, Reynolds, Townsend have all made.
I'd sign but Hastings and Madden on long term deals. Stockpile as many 7s as possible.
Madden can be loaned ideally to super league to learn his craft for 2 or 3 years - then we can reassess - keep him, or swap him for a keep player
Madden needs to be loaned to Manly and have a punch up with DCE in the greatest town in Australia .....

Agreed, but my recollection was that Brisbane cleared that debt?
For me, I think we need a upgrade at back up fullback if Laurie goes down again which is why I’m hoping that he sign Dykes over Lodge.

I think we desperately need another 2nd rower. I like Blore but we can't put all our eggs in one basket given his poor run with injuries. Not sure i'd be keeping Tamou, let's see how he finishes the year. We could do with some more pace in the backline but otherwise that's surely a top 8 squad.

Lol i'm trying to be positive. It's a very good forward pack, especially if we magically land Crichton too. Backline is a bit slow though...
Also worried we look like an u/8's team team when Hastings is off
