kai Pearce Paul also testing the market he would be worth a look for 2026

Leo Thompson should be No1 Priority, He has the aggression that we have lacked.

I agree, would love to get him.

@enumerator Leo Thompson is managed by Wasserman, the same outfit who manages Stefano. They’ve moved all their WT players to other clubs this year. Isaiah, Stefano and Kepaoa.

Richo seems to have good relationships with Crown & Ultra.

KPP manager is Ayoub. We might be in with a shout there.

Taking into consideration the players able to talk to clubs come Nov 1st this is a team I think could certainly play finals:

Bula

Skelton

Olam

Makasini

Turuva

Galvin

Luai

Si Fainu

B. Nikora

Seyfarth

King/Thompson

Koroisau

Sam Fainu

Bench: Pole, Hunt, Johannsen, Latu/TDS

What team would you like to see given the talent available Nov 1st and who we might be able to attract to the club? You can only add 2 players.

I hate him, but I also think he is one of the most footy smart, motivated and passionate players in the NRL, something we sorely lack....I'm torn about what to think if this rumor is true.

@lorenzo This is the type of player that is required at the club right now..Like him or not Gutho is a competitor you only have to watch him play on a two year contract the competitive spirit and experience would be invaluable , the team at present has no drive Gutho would give that coupled with Laui !

I’m have an open mind on gutho. He’s presumably not going to be on a lot after parra chip in a chunk. We lack centres and he is a high effort player. I like the idea of overwhelming our losing culture with high effort winning types (api, luai, gutho maybe  bird) to complement our young natural talents. A bit worried on his injuries but maybe worth a risk. Wouldn’t block makasini for long

What about Eisenhuth for lock? He’s played as a Yeo backup the last few years, won premierships, played with Benji and Luai. Has seen a winning culture. Would be cheapish and be able to play regular first grade with us. Doesn’t look like he has a contract for 2025

I'd take Gutho as a centre for 2 years for sure. Would help develop Bula as well.

!00%, great footy IQ. What he might lack in speed as he gets older, although never a real speedster anyway, he makes up for with his positional play and game management abilities.

He's a very smart player so could do ok in the centres, certainly a very experienced player and a great communicator so would be probably help defensively which is important for us. Very fit, would be a great trainer so would be another to help set standards. Would also give younger players confidence knowing he's there. I could see it helping if only 2 years.

Facebook rumour alert 🚨

Gutho seen lunching/meeting with Wests Tigers management near Concord.

I think he was seeking Justin Olam's knee surgeon's business card

Eisenhuth looks ok because he's surrounded by champions. He's a bit of a plodder, and we have enough of those.

With Olam, Bird and Gutho on board we'll need to convert part of the centre of excellence into a hospital.
