I've always said that he is a smart dude. And he could succeed; stranger things have happened.
My guess is this extension is aligned with the removal of Luai's clauses and the extension of Bula to 2029....otherwise makes no sense at all.
@joel This is a coach that can not get more than 60 mins out of his team for two seasons so ok guys let’s give Benji another 3 seasons … there is no logical thinking in any areas of the club it’s unbelievable that there are individuals at the club that just have no idea and really could not care less but to protect there own selves !

It is trying to give a notion of stability for the players and it is there to also help Benji with player negotiations.
Benji may as well get a football manager paycheck also...
The more I see and listen to Marshall, the more impressive he is in becoming as a head NRL coach. It's not hard to see why the players like him as their coach as he's very much about looking after their wellbeing and allowing them to focus on being the best version of themselves.
