Yeah let's just sack everyone and expect people outside the club instantly show some kind of respect our way...
The only way out this mire we are in is to find the type of players that want to fight their way out of it...
If players are not up for the fight, then they can hand in their contracts and walk out the door in my opinion!
Fine, except with the trashing of the joint by the antics of Richardson, in particular, WT will have to pay massive overs to attract half-decent replacements for those they've lost. And the same should apply to Richardson.Fox reporting Benji has 9 weeks to save his job.

Every so often the fans of this club collectively lose their minds. Now us such a time. Can everyone please take a breath?
There are some things we can be positive about. Players are putting in for Benji, there are still good signs we can attract players of quality. Some great talent has emerged - like Bula and the Fainu brothers Our performances this season are clearly better than in the last three. So far anyway. Richo is as good a CEO as we could hope for.
Sure, there are some negatives. The club under the former board took a massive gamble on Benji as coach. That may not work out. Benji erred in appointing inexperienced assistants. That needs fixing. The club is still confused on its recruitment strategy. All the development club talk has rather blown up in Richo’s face. And our club still hasn’t convinced me it can properly develop young players.
Losing Galvin was a blow. But then, is he worth $1M? Letting Da Silva go now is dumb, but again, we are carrying the can for a decision to pay him overs next year and in 2027.
Canterbury shows that it takes two years to turn over a poor roster. Next year we will move in from some signings that were dumb or just haven’t worked out. Feledy, Tumeth, Matamua and Naden will likely exit. That is our next test - some depth signings alongside a good middle and a good edge will help move the club towards week on week competitiveness.
Everyone is sick of losing. But the hole we’re in is deep. We’re improving. But slowly. It could all fall apart again. But I reckon it won’t.
@plundermonkey that’s a fair comment but the huge issue we have is Luai is tied to Benji, api is tied to Luai, Tino is tied to Api. Toa has suitors. Bula is managed by Moses. The Fainu’s are a wonderful package for any club to pickup (hello manly! Hello eels!). We have let our 2 best juniors walk and there are 2 new franchises looking to build rosters over the next couple of years. This thing is one terrible month of football away from blowing up severely in our faces and in a way I’m not sure we recover from. If the mail is right that HBG is back fiddling with team selections and roster decisions we are proper stuffed. We are stuck at the bottom of the ladder and we are the poorest club in the league. This was our last Hail Mary, employ a club legend who could never be undermined or kicked out. Well all those close losses are coming back to bite hard and it’s clear that our forward pack is losing motivation to put its body on the line. A 4th straight spoon could be fatal and I don’t think that’s an understatement. I have no doubt that if we go on an extended losing streak from here and spoon again our membership numbers will go backwards. We are in a very precarious position.
My feeling is that the club will set about trying to give Benji more support over the coming off-season, but if things don't improve he will be moved on early next year.
Despite all the turbulence this week, I can't see him being moved on this year.

Agree. This is just Rothfield connecting his own dots at this stage. We could do with the negative attention though.

Adel Hage on the Wests Life pod said that HBG told Benji to play Galvin after the eels game and they are also the ones who said to let him go once the lawsuit started. Also said that once the seasons gets beyond capable of making the 8 they tell the club to stop spending and to save as much money as possible (perhaps why TDS gone?). Whilst it’s great that they are no longer a majority on the board the fact that they are our owner is still pulling us down. We need new ownership.

I agree we need new ownership, ASAP. But who is Adel Hage? Have I missed something about him/her having inside knowledge on all things WT? Or is he/she just another person with opinions and a microphone? If the mail is right that HBG is back fiddling with team selections and roster decisions we are proper stuffed.

adel is on the Wests Life podcast. He coached the Harvey Norman woman’s team to the title a few years ago and was inside the club. Worth a listen for his analysis of the game each week

He is also recording an episode with the Wests Tigers Podcast tonight.
In memory of Geoff Chisholm (1965-2022)
@tigertownsfs Jumped on the pod a few months ago ..Adel gives an interesting view from a coaches perspective and really opened the eyes to what is going on with the women’s team or not going on ! Good listen loves Benji to much for my liking though.
Benji’s response in the press conference should have been: “I love my players but today was totally unacceptable.”
Until we have someone who can not only foster great relationships, but also set and achieve high expectations/standards we will continue to flounder.
