Madge can coach, he just couldn’t do it with our squad and within our culture (on and off field).

That's the bit that I object to. That's your bitter opinion, stated as fact.Madge spitting all over the walls dropping f bombs wasn’t resonating with the players and he didn’t have the cattle for the game plan but refused to change
why is it bitter? It’s just my opinion from what I saw on the doco. It wasn’t my intention for it to come across as a fact and I’m sure most people understand I’m not stating it’s a fact. I’m confused how I provide my opinion without it coming across as a fact.
I agree with this, I don't believe that Madge's way of communicating in the dressing room would be the best at getting the best out of the majority of modern, young, developing players. The lack of eye contact and engagement that came across in the doco was a concern for me.
The disappointing thing for me with the doco was the lack of non gameday interactions with players, I think this would have been very telling and shown a lot on the coaching that Madge was implementing day to day.

Madges F this and F that shows he is not the best communicator of building a squad. He is a good coach with a ready made squad like souths 2014 or kiwis but nrl coach for a rebuild club not so good.
Simple; you say that "from what I saw on the doco, Madge ....." Then we judge your comment accordingly. That's the bit that I object to. Again, in your opinion this is the situation. I, somewhat respectfully, disagree.Madges F this and F that shows he is not the best communicator of building a squad. He is a good coach with a ready made squad like souths 2014 or kiwis but nrl coach for a rebuild club not so good.

It’s a forum champ every post is someone’s opinion.
of course this post is written as my ‘not so humble’ and ‘bitter’ opinion 😉
So a forum is just a place where people spew forth their opinion without any justification and actually declaring it's opinion only?Simple; you say that "from what I saw on the doco, Madge ....." Read every post on here. Most of them are opinions without the explanation. You even responded to other people and stated you disagreed in a polite manner. I’m not sure what I have done to offend you but it was not intentional.
I will be leaving it at that on the matter. I hope you enjoy your weekend.
“In our [coaching] team Robbie [Farah] looks after the attack, John [Morris] looks after the defence, Chris [Heighington] will do the forwards and our effort areas and I’ll oversee the overarching theme of the way we want to play.
“Other than that, I let them do their jobs and have their say. They’re very experienced and very good at what they do. You don’t wanna overdo it but again, I also don’t want to come in and become a head coach and do it someone else’s way.
“I wanna do it the way I wanna do it. The way I see it working is the way I’m gonna do things.”

Those comments from Marshall are horrible.

im optimistic. Farah was yardage last year and that was our best element. Morris has coached modern defence structure successfully in first grade before. Heighno is all effort
