@garry But the club would be ONE  at Stadium Australia yes its not ideal but the Dogs and South’s have made it there home and there supporters gravitate there . Read the other forum about this subject and no more needs to be said as this is why our club is divided, the club has fanned division from day one .. until this has been rectified the Weststigers will never be taken seriously always nomads with no home no home ground advantage . What a great look if by chance the team turns it around and 15 k capacity means locking its own supporters out which has happened recently but then again this is the short short sightedness of the whole organisation …

I think it is a worse look having 15k in a 80k stadium. There is literally enough seats for every person to have 4 seats to themselves when we play there.

If we were smart we would have campaigned for the CommBank to be built at Olympic Park instead of Parramatta. It would have been the perfect outcome for us but we didn't have the foresight to do that.

I wouldnt use the other forum as a moral compass.

I genuinely dont see the "division" that people are talking about here and I dont see it as a problem, genuinely. I dont see any evidence that the club or supporters are divided on a Balmain - Wests axis.

I could see the argument that the players dont get "used to" one home ground for the matchday experience but the counter to that argument is the atmosphere of a packed Leichhardt, countless interviews with players about the fact that they love Leichhardt.

I genuinely dont think the "division" exists. I can see a large percentage of supporters dont like LO & CSS and that is completely fair enough, I can understand that if you are after the modern facilities.

This is an age old and maybe unsolvable issue. Many supporters dont like LO & CSS because they want the modern facilities, many fans LOVE LO (& CSS?). At some stage the club has to bite the bullet and just make a decision. In the absence of an obvious modern stadium that ticks all the boxes, I think that with some work to come, they have made the right decision.

@snake I don’t understand this argument . Did people just wake up yesterday and forget the last time we played most of our home games there ? It was a schmozzle ! Most fans hated it . Complained it wasn’t wests tigers . Same for comm bank .
The only way we ever get unity is an upgraded C town to 30k , and Leichhardt gets its proposed upgrade and we play there 2 times a year .
Any other option just really isn’t viable long term.
But here’s the thing . People want it at C town ,and it makes sense , but people have to go to the games . Which is counter intuitive when you thing about the larger machinations around this club ie. the board , review and under performance.
But Olympic Park and comm bank are not the answer .

Good grief, that's like encouraging me to ditch a subscription to the New York Times for the Daily Telegraph. Life's too short to waste any of it on reading that other forum.

20K stadium @ Liverpool has raised its ugly head again. This has the Chairman, whose office is in Liverpool, all over it. I’d say a desperate attempt to stay relevant. They need to expand Campbelltown instead, Campbelltown is a more viable option.

Why would the government build us a stadium in an area we’ve never played in? What’s the research around Liverpool being an area people would travel to?

Yep this reeks of someone getting their name in the paper to justify their position when under pressure.

@the-last-ronin I think help build is the narrative… Liverpool I suppose is no man’s land in between inner and outer so I suppose if they can jag a Stadium there the club could finally have a home . Transport would be a major issue though … but in saying that those of us that see a future only with one home ground this has to be at least looked at .
