Maybe it just proves if you win it doesn’t matter where you play..

the dungheap down the road will do if you win..

A consistently successful Wests Tigers team is going to need plenty of crowd capacity.

SFS or Stadium Australia it is then…

lol, on th risk of boring everyone, neither is appropriate.

Unfortunately neither are Campbelltown or Leichhardt

An upgraded Campbelltown is far better than any other option.

Except it will never happen.

Assume that there are no further upgrades to stadiums, which would you pick in its current form as our home ground?

Commbank

Understood. Fortunately there is not a hope in hell that Parramatta Stadium will be our home ground moving forward.

Nor the SFS

I agree, it seems more likely that WESTERN Sydney Stadium, would be more likely for Wests Tigers than the EASTERN Suburbs of Sydney.

It interest’s me that one of the main reasons a club like ours would want to play out of either of the larger stadiums is corporate $$.
If your company is putting huge amounts of money into your club they want state of the art facilities to show case there product ..modern corporate facilities etc ect .

The new SFS is going to be a real game changer for the clubs playing out of there .

Corporates will not travel to Campbelltown or want to be at 1960 Leichhardt oval venue …harp as much as you like there are three stadiums to choose from ! if the club want to continue this outdated stadium stand the corporate $$ will eventually dry up as they will go where there company’s have the best and most comfortable stadiums for the exposure of there product and there guests!

I know it’s location is contentious (@Garry) but the new SFS looks a magnificent facility, especially with the ability to utilise just the lower bowl for smaller crowds. Under cover seating, top shelf corporate facilities, close access to public transport (inc Central station), if we want to be a big club we need these kinds of facilities (look and feel).

It will be better than Suncorp. Food outlets will have a variety, not just burgers, pies and chips etc.

@helmesy light rail straight to the door for SFS

if we are seriously as a club only 3 options are SFS, Stadium Australia or stay at Parramatta

at least SFS and Stadium Australia are neutral feel and no leagues club next to it

Problem is there are issues with all the options.

Venues NSW contract doesn't end until the end of 2023, home grounds for 2024 being negotiated at present.

Hit the nail on the head there Garry. Wherever we play there are issues.

Commbank is a great stadium but as you enter and leave you see the Eels leagues club, it doesn’t feel like a home ground. The parking is also a problem, I had to park two suburbs away for the game against Parra. Leichhardt and Campbelltown need upgrades, Homebush is too big and no atmosphere. The SCG is not suitable for league and the SFS is not West enough. People will complain about any of the options currently available.

The one that ticks the most boxes then is Homebush.

That is just personal preference though, it depends how much value you place on each of those ticks and to be honest for me Stadium Australia is the least desirable place for us to play.

You’d go SFS over Homebush if a choice of two?
