Very lucky to have Richo. If we have to play at Comm Bank so be it.

PS: Richo has visibly aged since getting here! Bit like the supporters!!!!!!!!!

I think that is probably more to with his health problems and weight loss.

I guess we need to bring this to a head but it’s a risky strategy to leave CSS completely

True. I guess the club believes it can still be a presence in the Macarthur without playing games there.

@jedi-tiger That’s the impression I got from  Richo ,our family could be back to the footy that’s exciting !

if we base out of another teams stadium we become the travelling wilberies of the nrl or the nomads of the nrl with no geographical home

LO too small

CSS potentially no funding

Commbank is another teams stadium

Either way we are not in a good place

No issue playing out of Commbank if funding doesn't come through for CSS.

I tend to agree. And Richo has done a great job of making the Council the scapegoat if we can't play there.

I'd love to know where the NRL is with all this, I'd say they'd be really keen to get us based out there - but unless they buy a site and build a stadium their hands are tied.

The NRL have been involved in the negotiations for the upgrade on CSS, Both the CEO and Chair.

so the nrl will stump up 50 million? at present no politician would be brave enough to put 50 or 100 million to campbletown not many votes in it, LO was lucky to get what it got tbh

hopefully richo gets a good outcome

2 days ago the liberals have said they will commit 3.7 million to campbletown stadium

again where is this mythical 50 million coming from ?

no votes in campbletown unfortunately

Richo's announcement has come straight after this

I just can’t see anyone coming to the table to make this happen. Eventually though a stadium will be needed somewhere in the SW. My prediction is a long stint at Commbank Stadium as our primary venue.

I kind of think in the future a shared stadium will be built at Liverpool with shared tenants dogs and tigers

If it’s true that the Libs have only offered a few million then I guess this is Richo softening up the supporter base for a move to 8 game Commbank

Club does not believe that is a viable option.

I would also suggest it would be at very long odds to happen.

The club can push for CSS but votes in liverpool electorate state and federal, hence could be an option at Woodward Park

Gould and the dogs have clout if they decide in a year or two if no upgrades happen at homebush and a way for Gould to get his claws into SW nursery.

Nope, that would be an absolute disaster. The Wests Tigers would die if that were to ever happen. That was the previous Lawyers plan. Says how much faith you can have in it. I would never, ever support a joint venture with the Bulldogs.
