Very good move, 24000 seat stadium would be awesome.

they would want to get membership out at CSS better than it is before putting most of our eggs in Campbelltown basket, some of (not me) the LO membership are not members of both stadiums

They believe they need to commit more games to the area to increase membership.

big risk

campbletown is full of families who have moved from other parts of Sydney to buy a house and support other teams

Hope it gets up at CSS, not a lot of votes in campbletown, not sure if 100 million can be justified as an investment, time will tell

will be interesting to see

Play 9 games a year there and the crowds will come.

The council won’t fund it, take that to the bank.

The federal government/opposition is being baited by Richo.

The way Richo was upbeat about the Easter game and what exciting things that the fans will experience there …Imo it’s all in with Commbank …just seems odd with what’s happening in the world ATM in a financial sense this has come out of nowhere. The council as with many others will struggle to keep there services up let alone raise up to 100mill never going to happen ,money is going to be in short supply for many yrs to come . There is a reason the membership is bad at Campbelltown and adding a few more thousand seats will not remedy that as I have said many times over .And yes I have been an advocate for using CommBank as mine as the rest of NSW taxpayers built that place ..

Doubt campbletown council comes up with the cash

cant see Albo offering cash

cant see Minns offering cash for a stadium with all the strikes at present

problem is it is within spitting distance if a teams leagues club and is located in another teams area that being parramatta

taking out some seats behind the goalposts does not make it feel like home

if we base out of another teams stadium we become the travelling wilberies of the nrl or the nomads of the nrl with no geographical home

LO too small

CSS potentially no funding

Commbank is another teams stadium

Either way we are not in a good place

No issue playing out of Commbank if funding doesn't come through for CSS.

@jedi-tiger You do understand what’s happening in the world at the moment..every board in the country are crunching the numbers ,tough times are coming. The club is doing the right thing and insulating itself the best they can and if that is playing out of Commbank so be it . I give Richo the thumbs up here the warning is there !

I tend to agree. And Richo has done a great job of making the Council the scapegoat if we can't play there.

I'd love to know where the NRL is with all this, I'd say they'd be really keen to get us based out there - but unless they buy a site and build a stadium their hands are tied.

Very lucky to have Richo. If we have to play at Comm Bank so be it.

PS: Richo has visibly aged since getting here! Bit like the supporters!!!!!!!!!

The NRL have been involved in the negotiations for the upgrade on CSS, Both the CEO and Chair.
