We’re early favourites with the bookies, odd given short turnaround and record against the Raiders.

The big issue with Adam and Jerome is that they were playing predominantly left and right side. With Jock and Adam they did mix it up more in the 3 games they played. I believe if we go again with AD and Jerome we may need a ball playing lock, a chance for Latu to stand up maybe.  This would become more applicable if Jeream is out injured also. Food for thought.

Watching the game from the grand stand We got great attitude and talent.

Tigers lacked composure.

Yes I agree and it was because of the intensity of the game, especially in the backs. Our forwards got the best of the bronx. Fundamental errors from a teenager and a Masterclass halfback roll stole that game away from us.

This line up proves a few things to me.

  1. Standards drive selection or retention (exit Makasini)
  2. Starford Toa must be OK because Patrick Herbert did little wrong in his 2 outings
  3. There is no way to fit 4 halves in a 17 or 19 man line-up. This week's casualty is Latu.

Thursday night will be a big one for the team and our solidifying a top 4 position on the ladder.

Go Tigers!!!!!!

Okay so it looks like we have a cover for Bula with Herbert and Skelton. Surprised to see To’a available. And I knew the halves wouldn’t change. We should still win this one.

Latu needs to play reserve grade this week needs some miles in the legs , I do not understand why Madden is on the bench ! Really need to pick and stick is AD the 7 or not just a waste of a bench spot Imo. When is the reserve grade squad announced might go to Lidcombe on Saturday.

Adam has more strings to his bow than Toa and is just as strong running the ball. I would have gone that way and play Jock at 7. Sanders defence has been weak so perhaps Benji wants Adam to run over him.

I hope Luke Lualilii has a great game, but as he is off to the Bears, I would rather Skelton, Tevana (if fit) or stay with Makasini.

Hope he makes me eat my words though and has a blinder.
