Jedi playing Doueihi at 13 sounds good in theory only problem is he still can’t tackle
@yanni I know he still can't tackle but in attack it might work OK. Douihie running hard and then throwing a ball to Brooks out wide at pace.
In defence I guess he stands closer in the middle he will have forwards to help him tackle

Sadly I know that is correct, just wish it wasn’t. There is the opportunity there this week with Wakeham in the squad (but yes I agree that it’s unlikely).
A few interesting questions for todays game:
How does Staines go at full back? If he probes around the ruck, pushing up for an offload he’ll be in a position to jump ahead of Laurie.
Bateman? What will he bring. I’m hoping he is the leader we need to gets everything focused.
Has Nofoaluma found a compass and learnt how to run straight and hard?
Does Wakeham get a decent shot to show what he can do? I’m hoping he gets a run in the halves, he’s been in good form and we need to try something different.
Can they resist the temptation to try and get Twal a try and actually put on a threatening play in the bulldogs 20?
@the-last-ronin I would rather see Brooks play well " than give wakeham a shot" just for the sake of it.
if Brooks plays poorly sure definitely throw wakeham in the halves but I am I guess one of the few that wants Brooks to succeeding halves...

I didn’t mention Brooks.
I did mention earlier in the week that the Brooks/Doueihi combination should be scrapped.
of course I’d like Brooks to succeed as it means we are a winning football team but his best chance of success at the moment is probably with this set up:
7.Wakeham
6.Brooks
4. Doueihi
but we won’t see that today as Brooks will most likely play some 9

Api is not going to play 80, will need a break. IMO 80% chance they push Brooks to 9, 20% chance its Wakeham to 9 for that break.

Until the club sign two new halves this team is not going anywhere … Brooks today is showing complete disinterest and Doueihi is pretty much a reserve grader .
