It’s February and that means we really are on the final straight heading to NRL season 2022.

On this edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast, Eddie Otto, Garry Watson, Declan McCutcheon, and Steve Stretton discuss some good news for the club – the re-signing of Stefano Utoikamanu.

What does the young prop’s signature on a new long-term contract mean to the club and we look at who should take the credit for having ‘The Ute’ make that commitment?

Then it’s time to fasten your seatbelts as Declan and Steve go head-to-head on Luke Brooks.

The boys have two different opinions on the long-term Wests Tigers halfback and where he fits into the side this year.

They also raise an interesting question – where does Adam Doueihi come back into the side when he recovers from his knee injury?

In Part Two, Eddie takes a look at some of the responses from our Wests Tigers Podcast Forum thread on positions that might need to be strengthened in the Wests Tigers squad for 2023.

There’s also the return of Eddie’s Confidence Ratings and a quiz that brings up names of Wests Tigers players from the past such as Darren Senter and Wade McKinnon.

While the boys also take a look at the latest rule tweaks being introduced by the NRL ahead of season 2022.

We really hope you enjoy this big edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast!
