The off-season has arrived and sadly the Wests Tigers kept their worst for last in season 2021.

On this edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast Eddie Otto, Garry Watson, Declan McCutcheon, and Joel Helmes take a deep-dive into the big loss to the last-placed Bulldogs.

  • Was the game a true reflection of where this club is at?
  • Did the players hold back in a bid to put more pressure on Michael Maguire?
  • And has that result made the coach’s position untenable?

There’s also plenty of hearty discussion around who could potentially become the next Wests Tigers coach.

In part two of this marathon edition of the podcast, the boys take a look through the many different issues raised in the two-part Sydney Morning Herald expose on the Tigers.

Written by Michael Chammas, the in-depth analysis looks back at the Tiger’s ups and downs over the past 21 seasons, including quotes from Wayne Pearce, Jason Taylor, Mick Potter, and Wayne Bennett.

If you love the Wests Tigers, win, lose or draw, we think you really enjoy this edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast…

  1. Seriously who would want to be a coach at the tigers? You can’t always blame the coach, players need to be accountable, a lot of players need a tap on the shoulders, that includes Brooks.
