Thanks for finding the latest edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast!

Joel joins Nick and the returning Mitch Wright for another big episode as we break down all the latest Wests Tigers news heading into a crucial stage of the season.

We discuss the club's major roster moves, including the signing of Jake Averillo on a four-year deal and the early departure of Starford To'a to Manly.

The boys also tackle a range of Buy, Sell or Hold topics, including whether Shawn Blore should be a target for 2027, and if Samuela Fainu's future may eventually lie in the front row.

There's also plenty of discussion around reports that Samuela could return from injury as early as next week, along with the timely inclusions of Adam Doueihi and Alex Twal for Sunday's clash with Newcastle.

With the Tigers sitting outside the top eight and 11 rounds remaining, we take a close look at the finals equation before previewing a must-win encounter against the Knights at McDonald Jones Stadium.

All that and plenty more on Episode 475 of the Wests Tigers Podcast!

And don't forget you are invited to join in the discussion on the Wests Tigers Podcast Forum.

My takes from this pod guys is that Nick would be almost certain a swing voter when in comes to politics…. Maybe 😜

But I do know it’s the wests tigers beast that we’re dealing with here. We could easily come out and win by some and could also stick it up quite quickly. So as Joel was saying 6pm Sunday, I’ll know at 4:33 or roughly.

We all face each new game with a mix of confidence and trepidation and as the kick of time nears the balance of each changes dramatically. Great to see Twal and AD listed as starting at this point and to have our spineback to full strength will be a relief.

We are still missing our preferred 2nd row but are looking pretty good elsewhere.

IMO it all hangs on this game for 2026.

GO THE TIGERS!!!
