Wests Tigers Podcast - Talking everything Wests Tigers!
Epic effort for 300 podcasts!!! Congratulations to the whole team (OGs and imports).
This episode included some great discussion about our potential forward depth and performance for 2024. I particularly liked the spotlight coming back to the halves performance as key to this season's success or otherwise and the fact that there is renewed hope for Tigers fans!
Disappointed Declan made no announcement regarding his threatened/promised cartwheels over the Luai signing. Maybe halftime entertainment at the first home game??
Keep up the good work gents.
Well done on reaching this incredible Milestone.
I have listened to every single episode. Fun, informative and at times controversial but always genuinely in the interest of our beloved club and the fans.
In addition, Thanks for being the spear head that saw the monumental change this offseason.
Hundreds more to come I hope.
I think we need a tally to see how many pods everyone has been on.
In memory of Geoff Chisholm (1965-2022)
I think we need a tally to see how many pods everyone has been on.
Feel free to go back and count!

Well done Davey for listening all this time.
I started first season but missed first ep congratulations to Joel and Eddie first of all for starting the pod, keeping it going all this time and bringing your personalities to create this awesome pod.
Congratulations to Declan, Steve and Garry for your incredible contributions also. I don't think you can be referred to as newbies anymore. Can't imagine the pod without you!
Thank you for the joy you bring us twice a week. And thank you for all the time and effort you have all out in to deliver the pod!
Lastly, a massive thank you for driving this wonderful transformation of our club! Absolutely incredible! The little pod that could!
Top 8 2023
Congrats guys on 300 pods and this one I enjoyed as much or more as any. Great summary of the position of the team/club and specifically the forwards. Agreed with the consensus on the pod.
Getting exciting , less than two weeks until footy!
Congratulations to the triple centurion Wests Tigers Podcast and all you tragics who’ve made it possible. Thanks for the sum total of all your efforts. The cause and effect has been quite stunning.Definitely the go-to and ultimate benchmark on all matters Wests Tigers.
For mine, the most intriguing issue raised in this episode is the question of Simpkin vs Da Silva for the bench spot.I can see merit in both arguments but ultimately I think I’d be erring on the side of Simpkin, the bigger body who’s served his apprenticeship pretty well and kept it reasonably simple till now.If we were to use Harry Grant as a blueprint I’m not at all opposed to the process of warehousing TDS in State Cup and spending “80 minutes a week tackling men”as Declan suggests. If you look at Harry’s development,Bellamy knew that they had a diamond but was in no great rush to bring him on.TDS is still only 18 and getting in front of the traffic directed his way I believe can wait for another year and allow him to more naturally progress given that he seems the heir-apparent and long term 9.
Thanks again,and here’s to another 300.
