Tiger Teflon Tim’s team list Tuesday is going to be traumatic me thinks.
Thanks for the pod guys. I enjoyed the discussion about Api not being supported out of dummy half. I think that is a role that Daine Laurie is able to fill wearing the number 6 jersey. I reckon he's worth playing at 6 in place of Brooks. We can't keep the same spine after such a disjointed first 3 rounds. There is nothing to suggest that Brooks and AD are worth persisting with (as Garry stated).
Wakeham seems to have a lot more understanding of the requirements of a halfback. The comeback was sparked by his injection.
Disagree on the comments regarding Twal playing well and supporting the dummy half. He over runs the dummy half every hit up. He was standing in front of Bateman today and broke up the play when a forward pass was called. This happens most weeks. It's pretty sad that Twal has been playing NRL for 5 years and still overlooks one of the basic aspects of the game. Why aren't the coaches working with him to rectify that?
I have to agree with MickeyB, Twal did not play well. To me he looks reserve grade standard, he does put his hand up for work though, always available to take a hit up albeit with no impact. Shame he hasn’t kicked on to the next level.
This one isn't showing up in my podcast feed - any ideas?
