Great podcast again!

In regard to Hastings rubbing people the wrong way, I would be interested to see how he and Douehi get along. Both competing for the same position and both don't seem like the type to put up with others' crap.

Agree with that. Hastings and Nofoaluma too, that could be interesting.

Hopefully competition will get the best out of the halves this year.

I'm perhaps a bit concerned about Hastings and Douhei having a run in...I hope Hastings put Noffa in his place haha!

That thought has crossed my mind too. Douehi hinted at wanting to be the 6 in his last interview.

Another great pod guys

Slighlty disagree with Garry regarding Gareth Ellis i think he's better than top5 of WT players. I think he is top 3 - Benji and Robbie - then it's Ellis for me.

Sustained excellence over that 3/4 year period.

Would love to get him back over to join the coaching team

Top 8 2023

I also have Hodgo above him, but that's it.

WT players of the year - multiple winners:

3 - Gareth Ellis 2009  2010 2011

- Luke Brooks 2018 2019 2021(tie)

2 - Robbie Farah 2006 2007

- Aaron Woods 2013 2014

- Brett Hodgson 2004 2005 (tie)

Interestingly Benji never won a Player of the Year
