Phew! That was a game that took a toll on Wests Tigers players and fans alike! In a Golden Point thriller, Wests Tigers beat the Eels to cement a place in the NRL Top Eight.

On this post-victory edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast, Joel is joined by Josh and Declan to look back at a game that had more highs and lows than the Easter Show roller coaster. Some of the primary points discussed include:

  • The Luke Laulilii sin-bin
  • The Jock Madden performance
  • What to do with the halves when Luai is available again
  • The slow start...again!
  • The standout performance of most of the Wests Tigers' forwards
  • That impact we continue to see from our bench players

The Richo Meter comes out too, with opinions divided on how the Wests Tigers' performance could be assessed. Naturally, there's a whole bunch of 'One Word' submissions from members of the Wests Tigers Podcast Forum too. And there's a little look ahead to Sunday with the potential of at least one player returning from injury against the Knights. It's great to be bringing you another post-victory edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast. Enjoy!

Jordan is certainly hoping so, it’s a millstone around his neck 😂

I believe it is definitely achievable, especially if they play a hard as they did against the Eels and maybe break a few Knights ribs too. Being able to keep virtually the same side together on the park each week will improve cohesion and confidence.

Benji will have a game plan to beat the Knights and the lads will execute it!!
