Hi guys,

We are considering making the pod we record on Sunday night a live broadcast on Wests Tigers Radio, this is the game analysis pod that usually drops on a Monday morning. This would allow people to tune in at the same time each week and down the track to possibly include some interactive features.

Is this something people would be interested in listening to live each week? We are trying to build some unique and individual content.

Not sure if it is possible but if people could like ‘ ring in ‘ with their own thoughts and/or comments live to air it would be something very unique in podcasting..

I enjoy listening to the pod but find interaction after the fact at times pointless because it’s done and dusted.

As it’s Radio I think it would be fantastic to say ‘ We have Geo or whoever on the line who  think xyz on what we said live..

That is a possibility yes, there are issues we have to work around with doing it but is something we have discussed.

Just a note to say I'm listening. I don't think there was a mass absence of effort, I think they lack self belief. They try but I don't think they know how hard they could try.

The try you're talking about from Frizell, the ball dropped about a metre inside the dead ball with a gale behind it - I'm not sure playing for it would have been a 'smart' percentage play. Obviously hindsight says otherwise but they're trying to avoid a repeat set.

I'm hoping Hastings doesn't get a week off.

Sadly I think he will and that will mean watching Brooks again 😕 drive this train wreck even further into the mire.

Keep steering the right path

Knights had 32 tackles in side our 20 in the 1st 30mins 5 sets of 6.... defence wasn't too bad..both their TRIES came from kicks .. that with more effort from Laurie in the 1st instance and Hastings in the 2nd..

Only 1 starting forward (Leilua) cracked 100m

Hastings had 2/3 more receipts 60 than Brooks 46.. swapping sides in defence was the thing that left me scratching my head..

The Knights ran for 1767m and completed 15 more sets of 6..

On wanting Hastings to be halfback.. I've watched the game again..This does my head in..Hastings played the halfback role yesterday.. it didn't work very well..

Hastings had 60 receipts of the ball yesterday 2/3rds more than Brooks with 46 .. the number 6 or 7 they wear is irrelevant.. the attack did not flow as well as it did against Melbourne.. any combinations Brooks/Tuilagi Hastings/Leilua ...was wasted after 1 game

Unsure why the coaching staff decided to switch them onto the other sides of the field especially in defence..NRL proper in not the time to experiment with these things.. it's why there is an off season ..oh and supposed training during the week
