The team list suggests Brown starts at hooker with AD to come off the bench (after 50-60 minutes) and Brooks to 9.

I'm not a football academic but that seems odd to me. I don't see the point bringing AD on late. If we're 30 behind he's not going to spark the attack. If we're leading he's not exactly our strongest defender. It seems the only thing it offers is an opportunity to see how he combines with Hastings in the halves. We're putting a fatigued player into 9 where he's expected to do a lot of defence and spark attack.  It's illogical.

If he wants to assess AD/Hastings then start Brooks at 9 and give him a go when fresh. I'd have AD at 6 and aim for 30 minutes. I'd sub AD for Brown into hooker and put Brooks back to 6. Brown can target tired forwards and provides some spark. Half time gives him a rest and hopefully he gets through the second half.

This game will be over by half time if we don't start well.

Seyfarth still getting picked ...apart from that ...ok

Getting short on big bodies.

Pick the future then .....

Seyfarth was not up go grade in a recent NSW cup game I watched. He showed a glimpse of potential last year but seems to have regressed.

Yeah agree. Give someone else a go, nothing to lose.

At this point of this season, I don't mind easing AD back into it. We are at the start of the longest pre season in history.

I’m hoping Kimmorley 3 weeks in is much less predictable with he’s rotation of the bench.
Still dumbfounded that Seyfarth keeps getting picked, Brown starting is way over due, Pole about time he got a shot.
