Douhie hasn't even had a pre season at five eighth but you are prepared to dump in on the back of a few sub standard performances at the tail end of the year yet you are advocating for Brooks to be picked despite being useless for six out of seven seasons.
Ad showed in flashes last year that the raw materials are there and deserves a chance to learn and grow. If its not at the Tigers then another club will give him that opportunity.

Brooks can play 7 or 6 so yes I would lose douhie to keep Brooks. Sheens is a fan of Brooks and he is not the sole reason we do not make semi finals.
Douhie is a good player but he came as a fullback and failed as a fullback. He has defensive issues as a 6 also. If he is happy to play centre then great we need a centre. If he could tackle then perhaps he could have played 13 and Hastings to 7 and Brooks to 6.
Douhie does not seem like a Sheens style of 6 I think Sheens thinks he can turn Laurie into that running ball playing 6 more so than Douhie.

I was AD’a biggest fan but I wouldn’t re-sign him now under any circumstances. His defence is too poor for any position imo.
