@teddy_s I understand the weight of prolonged disappointment,but I believe it’s dulled your objectivity.We were clearly a much improved outfit last year even with all the off field dramas.We stuck solid and avoided implosion.Yes we might’ve been better but there was palpable advancement. Other report I read was Bunty has been the standout in off season training. I like that news, the more competition for each spot the better. I'm expecting some unexpected dark horses to have a massive year.

A: I’m going to give two big wraps to Bunty Afoa and Kai Pearce-Paul The standards they’ve come in with, the energy they’ve brought, obviously from different teams. You don’t really know what to expect from the new boys, but they’ve come in, heads down, ready to work and they’ve set a real good standard for our younger boys. So I’m excited to chuck this jersey on with those boys and see what we can muster up this season.

I know, but I’m excited to hear two of the forward recruits have been working well and leading the way. Mixed with the new-look Hunt and what I hope is a better physically prepared side it’s hard not to be a bit optimistic.
