Are premiership winners so I am not sure how underrated they are, but Fulton, Skando and Laffranchi.

I think Laffranchi was one of the clubs biggest losses.

Fitzy is a premiership winner and no one rates him.

I rate Fitzy. He always did what was asked of him.

Galea obviously , should have won the Clive Churchill medal , definitely Skandallis and Laffranchi as well , Tyran Smith was extremely good and doesn't get too many mentions ,Bryce Gibbs was very underrated , he always lead our line speed and reckon Aaron Woods has become a forgotten man

Gibbs was the Minister of Defence, very much rated by me. Woods was the reverse engine, I never really rated him to be honest and was always soft.

I was a big Benny Galea fan, I think he is the definition of underrated player.

Tyran Smith was our 2000 Player of the Year. Worth a mention for sure 👍

Yep, tough player with a bit of skill as well. Would suit the modern game.

I could go back sixty years of being a fan/member but something that surprises me, reading through this topic, is the lack of discussion around our current crop. Whenever the discussion leads to front rowers, someone who is very underrated is Alex Seyfarth. I just couldn't leave him out of any side of ours and I expect to see big things from him next season. I think that he and The Ute will be a front row pairing to be reckoned with.

I like Seyfarth as a 13 but think we have other plans for that position.

That’s a really good point, he’s sort of the forgotten man in the current squad. I’m a fan, I think he could go to a new level and be a real asset.

I think he can play 8, 10 or 13... all positions where we need energy ang aggression which he has in spades.

I liked his link work at 13, something we haven't really had since ET's first 6 months here.

To me he is a sure pick for a middle forward role. I'd only have Stefano above him in the pecking order at this point. Maybe Twal is above him now but Twal doesn't have anywhere near the impact that Seyfarth has.

According to Vossy, Corey Thompson has announced his retirement. One of my favourite ex Wests Tigers players.
