I thought the Dogs game a couple of years ago was the low point, but I think last night topped it. We looked like a 4th grade team. Out played, out coached. We’re terrible, and an off-season isn’t going to fix anything.
The club is absolutely cooked. Without a miracle we’ll get the spoon again next year - and we’ll deserve it. And by that time I’m not sure we’ll really care anyway. We’ll have clocked off.
Yep, completely agree. But that was well known before he was brought back here by our club's supposed "leaders". They remain the speedhump that needs to be removed. I'm pleased Sheens has gone. I resent him ever being appointed.@mike 99% of this year and last was all SHEENS .. thank the lord he is gone , has been a loser for over a decade !
We can only hope John Morris has genuine NRL coaching skills because Benji is going to need a lot of help I think. His comments about the "WT family" and the young players calling him "cuz" at training, don't fill me with a whole lot of confidence.
Perhaps it is because I was already numb and empty of hope for WT, but I think I've seen worse efforts than last night's. Too many, in fact. But the Manly scoreline was gifted by at least 3, maybe 4, tries from forward passes? The "officials" were disgraceful, the ref in particular. A massive step backwards for the status of women as NRL refs, IMO. Awful. And, that Ziggy dude, the touchie? More like "douchie".
@mercy-rule was under the impression from people who would know that most of the actual coaching this year was Marshall, with Sheens doing 1 on 1 training and the media stuff.

Mate, I have clocked off. Didn’t watch last weeks game nor last night. Will watch it but only so I can be informed on the pod. I’ve never had this feeling before ever. I am totally ambivalent atm. I don’t want to watch tigers nor engage in any content. I’m totally over the whole crappy mess. Not just a dummy spit but a real shift in my mindset. I hope it changes.

@tigersteve Your not alone ,you know things are bad when you meet other supporters in the street and you talk Tigers .. fast forward now I see the same people and there is no talk around the Tigers none ! The club is screwed and the people that have done this are still there go figure .

He’s copped some heat lately but we missed Bateman big time last night. Blore should never play on an edge again. At best he should be a depth middle. Ran for 33m. Horrible performance.
if Ice wants to go back to Parra we should let him (if they’d take him).
Not sure on Blore don't think he will make it as a starting second rower, maybe depth middle as Avo has said
I would keep Twal as for Stef I think when we miss the semis next year he will use his get out clause to go to a stronger team.

I think since we will likely have an average year next year time to blood Sullivan and Fainu give them experience do not waste the year with Sezer in the halves especially when he is off contract 2025
Make a choice Simpkin or Da Silva and play one in the bench for experience.
As for Papali he can go back to Parramatta if they pay full freight 600k and we can try and entice Olakuatu from Manly
As for centre no idea who we can get, thinking Olam ? or Staines to centre ?
Try and pay Nofo to play elsewhere and sign Fox

@jedi-tiger Lee and Pascoe are the ones that have signed the coaches that have chosen this roster. It’s absolutely on them. Btw how much are we paying Sheens to leave? How much did we pay Madge? Still profitable after that? Doubt it.

Was having that conversation last night with a mate. Both long time members. We’ve both stopped roll over for next season and really don’t think we can do it any more unless there is meaningful change
Sorry guys , I get we got pumped by basically Kuola and co ( hence why we pushed so hard to sign him this year ) , but I’m not as diminished by that performance as say , the cowboys loss .
last night I think Kit is going to be a huge star , he looks to have it , but is just too young .
Api is a hooker and his small frame is exposed out wide by wide running edge forwards . So Feledy being a weak defender just made it yuck . I thought Feledy is going to be a weapon in attack , but he won’t play first grade until he fixes his defence .
They knew to target api and Feledy . And it worked . Neither will be defending there next season.
I thought we saw enough from the rookies to try and get something out of that . I’m not as emotional about that game as others .
