He can leave on Wednesday as far as I’m concerned. Not really putting in here and certainly not worth the 800K asking price.stef apparently met with storm over the weekend, decision seems to be Wednesday according to Weidler...

He can take Klem, and Bateman with him. All underperformers
@avocadoontoast I have been talking this for a while now , IMO he would by an awesome 13 .
API-Laui-Galvin-Latu -Bulla starting to put a good team together here .

I would much much rather Latu playing in a distributive/attacking role than substitute at 9. Luai and Galvin do so much great work on the edges. I would like to see Latu play some 13 this year to test it out
@mike If Bellamy wants that attitude good for him .. once he started tanking that was it for me , he is still on good money and offering very little .Poor form IMO!

I think if he goes to Storm 1. They aren’t paying him $800,000 2. NAS comes our way.

Latu is 182cm or just under 6 foot. Is there a reason why he couldn’t make it as a 13?
I think that will be the plan. He will always be a better 6 than 13, but Galvin will blow up if he is moved so Benji will look to groom Latu as a 13. He hits hard in defence.
I think Blore showed his potential with us, however I guess at the time we may have needed a centre more desperately than we needed a second rower. I don't think he is playing any better than he did at the tigers (when not injured) just looks much better in a great backline. TBH I would still pick Samuela over him today, so whilst he is doing great at the Storm I don't think we are really missing him on that left side....I do however seem to recall him playing on the right side for us though.@avocadoontoast Yeh, and if he goes to Melbourne he will go as a more highly rated player than Shawn Blore, and look what the Storm system has done for him. I suppose it comes down to where Stefano and manger feel he can reach his potential. If that's their top priority then WT are no chance of keeping him.
I agree with this...however the other outcome may be that his rubbish performances mean that he gets no joy from the storm and dolphins and he just plays out his final year with us and has another crack at it next year. There is no way they are paying him more than $600k and giving him more than a 3 yr contract. Also Bennet coached teams have a history of imploding once he moves on so really the only legitimate "winning" team are the Storm and Bellamy is not a fool and is not desperate enough to pay overs and or a long contract for a player that has been very inconsistent.@mike If Bellamy wants that attitude good for him .. once he started tanking that was it for me , he is still on good money and offering very little .Poor form IMO!

unfortunately I still believe that Galvin is hanging around just to see out his contract and move on. In fact it still would not surprise me and I would put money on the fact that once the season is over him and his manager will start agitating again for a release, doing it mid season when all eyes are on the comp and NRL 360 is on 3 nights a week was probably not a smart play and it all got out of control. I think we desperately need to get Latu in the halves at 6 or 7 with Galvin as there is a decent chance he may be our 6 next year once Luai comes in.@avocadoontoast I have been talking this for a while now , IMO he would by an awesome 13 .

fingers crossed. There are 6 games left. Sezer is suspended for 2 of those. Hopefully we see Latu in halves a few times and the you never know, Sezer might not get back in the side
NRL transfer news 2024: John Bateman set for immediate move to Super League, Broncos star Tristan Sailor signs with St Helens
John Bateman has played his last game for the Wests Tigers this season, with the English back-rower set for an immediate move back to the Super League — but it comes with a twist.
John Bateman will have a short stint in the Super League with the Wests Tigers set to loan the English star for just the rest of the season.
It is understood that Bateman will finish this year with a Super League club before returning to Australia to complete the remaining three years of his deal with the joint-venture club.
The move is immediate. It is understood he told his Tigers teammates on Tuesday.
The 30-year-old was not picked in the Tigers’ team to take on the Warriors this Friday. He was at Tigers training on Tuesday morning in Concord but won’t be with the side when they travel to New Zealand.
Bateman joined the Tigers on a four-year deal last season in his second stint in the NRL. He played 32 matches for the Tigers, having played 34 for Canberra between 2019-20
