At the present moment, any club entering the market bidding for a top tier or marquis signing will more than likely be paying big overs as they will be competing against the cashed up,and subsidised Dolphins amongst others. If what NRL360 says is true, the Dolphins are having a tough time of it assembling a roster and getting a little desperate.

Hindsight is a beautiful thing but even so, it makes the Luciano deal look really astute now.

Apparently Liddle is being shopped elsewhere.

Crichton leaving the Roosters could be on. Here’s what Rothfield had to say tonight on NRL 360.

“I’ll tell you how much pressure their salary cap is under, Angus Crichton agreed to terms and the deal wasn’t signed because they cannot lodge it with the NRL because it would put them over the cap for next year,” Rothfield said.

Buzz was smirking about the fact that WTs couldn’t get the Nikolra deal done and what pathetic negotiators we are.For once he was put back in his box.Kent and Read defended us for not going down the familiar route of paying overs and observing restraint.Couldn’t believe what I was hearing.

I know the club felt he was a future back rower. Maybe he’ll get a go at centre next year?

Probably most suited for the centres but will need to improve his ball security when doing the dirty hitups. He has a bit of xfactor about him. I wouldn’ let him go just yet.

Absolutely Eastiemaggie, remember Bellamy wanted him,Benji sang his praises with superlatives and agree with you on the X factor quality. We just have to wait and see. We’ve been screwed over by the dreaded ACL in the last year.As frustrating as it is,patience is a virtue.

What that says to me is that the Roosters want him and he wants to stay there. Hardly an endorsement of him thinking of coming here.

If you go back and watch the Tigers Tales ....Madge is always talking to Tommy Talau ...he obviously has a high opinion of him
