Doesn’t he run rings around the current squad at training? We’re GOING to run last, maybe the brain explosions we see on the field might not happen with the coach out there. Worth a shot, he could bring up 350 games too 🤷♂️think it might be time the coach gets the boots back on for half a season. There’s two spots still available 🤷♂️ Wally did it in ‘92 I think. Let’s leave Api at 9 and get our coach in at 6. Seasons gone! There's a bloke on Facebook (I know it is not the place for truth) that reckons the playing group are off Benji and Api. Also it doesn't matter how much money we offer Stef, he is going.
Any player off Api should leave immediately. He’s the heart and soul of the team and gives more than the rest of them combined.
Could not agree more with this statement... Api has put in every single game he has pulled on the Wests Tigers jersey... and is the leader by all measurable aspects...
If any player cannot adhere to the standards Benji & Api are setting then they know where the door is... just do the honorable thing and leave quietly shake hands and dissolve the contract. Do not try to ruin the club on the way out!
so we want to get worse?

@avocadoontoast What a waste great player , for this season then see . But off field issues are a problem, really need committed types at this stage .
Always thought there was an issue with him has been cruising at the Roosters , unfortunately not a good fit at the Tigers
I’d take off field issues over our on field issues. He’s a terrific player.@avocadoontoast What a waste great player , for this season then see . But off field issues are a problem, really need committed types at this stage .

Penrith are set to capitalise on the upheaval at the Wests Tigers and secure extra insurance for the potential departure of Taylan May by signing utility Asu Kepaoa with immediate effect.
This masthead understands that Kepaoa will undergo a medical with the Panthers and sign for the remainder of this season as well as next year with the defending premiers after being granted permission by the Tigers to explore the open market.
Kepaoa has made 42 appearances for the Tigers since making his debut four years ago, although only two of those games have been this year.
He played against St George Illawarra in round six off the interchange bench and then against the Dolphins in round 11 from the back row.
He has now become the latest departure as the Tigers undertake a cleanup of their roster in preparation for next season, when they hope to add to the big-name signings of Jarome Luai and Sunia Turuva.
Kepaoa has landed on his feet at the premiers. The 24-year-old will provide cover for both the back row and centres, the latter of particular importance to the Panthers as they prepare to sever ties with May.
The club held a board meeting on Tuesday afternoon where May was given the opportunity to respond to a breach notice he received last week in which the club outlined their plans to sack him over code of conduct concerns.
It is understood the breach notice had nothing to do with domestic violence charges which prompted the NRL to stand down the centre under their no-fault stand-down policy only weeks ago.
‘I was going to get sacked’: Smith’s breach notice fear
May has been in the hotseat multiple times during his short career, including earlier this year when he posted footage on his Instagram account from the passenger seat of a car he was travelling in that exceeded the speed limit in a school zone.
The Panthers had already sounded out the NRL about receiving salary cap dispensation for May should he be stood down for the remainder of the season.
That may not be necessary if they sack him. Kepaoa not only adds to their depth in the outside backs, but gives them additional power in the back row. He is the second Tigers player to join them in recent weeks - back rower Isaiah Papali’i will play for the Panthers next season after being granted an early release from his contract.
Best news i have heard on a Tuesday afternoon, Bye bye Flippers

More good news. We've gotta have some bodies incoming this season the way this is going.
Isn't there a rule where you have to have your top 30 settled by the 30th June.....if so, they are going to cut it very fine. By my count with the great news about Kepaoa we are now down to 27, so 3 spots that need to be filled.....hopefully they are not planning to promote any more juniors to make up the numbers.
