If these 2 Fainu Brothers signed for Roosters, Souths or Dogs it would be a high 5 feast on the show and that's how good runs clubs do it.. But it was us so they complain that it was for 4 years even though Bennett himself offered them a 4-year deal but hey nothing to see here.

Even though there is "never a dull day in Rugby League". There is simply not enough content to fill out a tabloid show like NRL 360. They have to beat up and make up crap to fill out the time. The Tigers are an easy target without a big personality to protect them so they split the club up eg Hooper goes for Pascoe and Buzz goes for Sheen's. It's so see-through that it is pathetic but the amount of money that Fox pours into the game makes them untouchable.
I've said it a million times: Fox is the best and worst thing to happen to the game. The coverage is heaps better but they have had to make a bunch of journos into celebrities and they are drunk on the fame.
When the Tigers are finally competitive again, I hope all the supporters remember how Hooper, Elias, Roach and all the other morons who claim to be supporters constantly attacked the club and give it to them. Not saying that the club don't deserve a lot but these clowns go way above and beyond to dig the boot in. They should be the ones championing the club like other media personalities to try and promote the club.

I think you are lumping Elias and Roach in with a group of Fox Sports journos and that is not right.
Those boys are just extremely disappointed with the state of the club as a most fans are currently. Only difference is they a job that they get paid to express their thoughts! They do not attack the players or coaches like other Fox journos do... if anything it is obvious they want the same changes that majority of the supporter base want also!

There have been numerous headlines like "Tigers legend blasts club" and it is always Elias, Roach or sometimes Garry Jack. They have become rent-a-quotes. Any opportunity to have a go at the club, never anything positive. Especially rubbish like Blocker whining about the club not getting them involved in the club is a joke.

Anyway I'm not here to argue with anyone, I just think when someone is passionate about something then they have a job where they are required to comment when most likely they'd probably prefer not, it would be difficult not be negative with the Tigers over the last 5 odd years... thats all i'm saying
Just reading the Daily Telegraph which has several references to Tigers recruitment today. The brothers Fainu are signed for 4 years, Aiden Sezer is Benjis choice for No 7 next year and the Lee H gets quoted saying we may be after Payne Haas. Not sure that he needs to be saying that and qualifying the statement with "I don't partake in discussions at that level, so I can't comment affirmatively."
IMO, Perhaps then it's best he doesn't comment at all.
There's been some speculation that Parra are after Jake Simpkin immediately. If WT thinks Simpkin has a role with us, then it would be good to loan him out. He get's experience with a different and stronger roster plus new coaching staff. WT get's money back and hopefully a more seasoned player.
@mac_tiger Jake is a solid 9, however lacks the spark that we need...probably a better fit at Parra playing inside moses, just needs to feed him good ball. We need a more creative 9, so for me we go all in on Api and TDS. TDS should have matured nicely by the time Galvin, Large, Latu and co hit their straps. I would let Simpkins go to Parra asap esp considering origin period is over and Api/TDS can play out the remainder of the year.

What would be the benefit to letting Simpkin go now? What happens if god forbid Api goes down again?
@tiger5150 not much benefit to WT, however some goodwill letting him go and perhaps get a crack at some regular time in 1st grade as Hodgson is out for the season. If Api goes down we have another young 9 that is currently sitting behind TDS who may benefit from a run in 1st grade for a few games so he can get an idea on what he needs to work on in the off-season to improve.
