Bugger and I was hoping we’d get himSMH reporting Ethan Sanders to raiders apparently
apparently we are looking at Morris or Holbrook as assistant to support benji ?
Danny Weidler reporting we've signed the Fainu brothers.
Danny Weidler reporting we've signed the Fainu brothers.
I think he’s pretty reliable with this stuff.

Good signing of true. I’m not sure Latu will be superstar but we’ve got a half now
good get if we land the Fainu brothers
Hope it true as Weidler is normally on the money when reporting.
If true I am pretty excited about his brother Sam as well as he looks the goods and still alot of developing to come.
So that's one of our cards played if the Fainus are signed. Is the next card to hit the table going to be Sezer? If so it would seem that Benji and Fulton have made a deal with each other.
And if so, I wonder where that leaves Galvin? One of Fainu/Galvin becomes a #7 after Sezer??
I wonder where it leaves the brothers
After all the drama and time it’s taken the two brothers have arrived have no idea if there any good never seen them play only that they have potential so I reserve my opinion let’s hope so , also like the talk of Lomax good kicker and has the experience that is required at this present time would be a good signing ..hope the friction shown this week between Fulton and Benji is worked out but I think there will be a lot of work required there ! I really like the thought of another experienced coach to be added to the coaching staff , can see the reservations of managers and players with the totally inexperienced coaching staff at present Benji needs an assistant that is well versed in the modern game . So some positive news I guess ..
@grovetiger why would you though ? Apparently he’s a gun 6 . Is it cause he’s tall ? Is there any other reason . AD is tall , Campese was tall, Wighton is tall , Munster is tall . You get me ?
Is Large an out-and-out 5/8 or can he be made into a game-controlling half?
If not him then who do we see as the long-term future 7?
I’d expect more halves signings to come, Fainu considered a project player.
The signing of 18-year-old Latu Fainu especially, is seen as a move toward shoring up the revolving scrumbase at Concord, but there are realistic expectations that he is still not ready for a full season of first grade from 2024.
Good news signing the Fainu brothers, i just hope we have not paid overs. I also hope we dot throw Latu in the deep end and burn the kid. Not sure where the Lomax rumor's are coming from, however I do rate him as a player, he just needs to try and pick the right moments for his trick shots, his temperament is a bit of an issue as well, however he is naturally gifted and seems to be tenacious, just overplays his hand sometimes (sometimes way too often). I also like the idea of getting Holbrook on board, Benji needs a more experienced assistant to help him, Sheens needs to step back into a football manager role, I don't think he clicks with this younger generation of player.
