Holbrook could be a really good assistant coach for Benji, he could bring new ideas, but not as head coach. But has management given up on the five year plan already ? If so it just goes to show that how mismanaged we are from the top.

Id have no problem with Holbrook being a good assistant coach, as long as Sheens/Benji have approved it.
Holbrook could assist Benji next year allowing Sheens back into head of football- it may be a play from Sheens/Benji against Pascoe/Lee/Fulton.

The Holbrook thing could work if and only if the following things happen in conjunction .
Furner stays as defensive coach . I like his structures . I like the way the team moves in defence , and I don’t feel like it’s a guarantee the other team will score every time the ball shifts down an edge .
I know the Cowboys game has skewed the stats , but the mark one eyeball says that the defender is infinitely better this year . And I’ll back that’s down to furner. .
Robbie moves into the front office , with Sheens and both along with Fulton start to build the necessary infrastructure and communication around what’s required to actually not be a laughing stock .This is to eventually lead Robbie into somewhere higher in the food chain , but at the moment Assistant GM , should be what we aloud be aiming for him .
Sheens goes back to the GM role , transitioning to Robbie whenever .
Benji takes over , Holbrook to attacking coach , and now the infrastructure is in place for a young coach , backed by 2 former head coaches and several people around him with knowledge and guile .
And finally we find a new CEO , and/or Chairman . But I’d take one or the other for now (probably CEO gone , because it’s been 8 years ) .
