A Bula: the kid is going to be a first grade fullback for the next 10yrs but he has done nothing in the game yet. $650k seems right but if you want a longer term deal it will need to have increases embedded in it.
B junior: talented player but plays in a position you don’t want to spend too much on. $350k-400k
c brooks: you don’t get halves for less that 700k
d: wakeham: he’s hopefully a backup half next year so 250k

Probably about right. You don’t want to be paying a winger too much more than that.

If we see brooks as worth an extension of fair money (say 700k) and Bula is not yet on superstar many (4 games) then we still have massive cap space. A bunch of that will go to upgrading other young players (Steph, pole, toa etc) but we still have cap space for a marquee player. The only position we can really spend that on is either an elite 13 or 7. Given there is nothing on the open market in those positions it will have to come out of club looking to adjust their roster. Roosters seems the most logical one to look at. Either Walker, radley or smith would fit the bill
My worry is other clubs will come knocking for Bula
A - Bula 5 years - starting at 400k and ending at 850k on last year (which ensures he's not getting to ahead of himself)
B - Junior 3 years at 400k
C - Brooks 2 years at 550k
D - Wakeham 2 years at 300k

no to Radley for me. Outside of that team he would be a massive liability IMO and I see Smith as a 9 rather than 13.
I can't see roosters moving on Smith or radley.

I’d love to see Radley in tigers colours, not so much smith though. Dare say they will keep Walker.I can't see roosters moving on Smith or radley.
