Apparently Jelisa Apps ch 10 reporting following Sheens press conference
Tim Sheens has revealed this morning the club has spoken to Luke brooks agent and plan on making him an offer beyond this year. No official offer has been made as yet but adamant they want to keep him.
I guess this is the normal weekly coaches press conference she is referring to so wait for it to be released I guess.

I’m on record saying I wouldn’t mind seeing brooks stay on as a 6 at reduced contract value. I hope this is contingent on securing a dominant 7. Brooks is doing better under sheens but he still has some big deficiencies in regards to decision making. Skills wise and effort he is good enough. Would love for him to find his confidence again at WT. I fear the supporter base will not be kind to this decision however, especially if he has a poor game at LO this weekend

99% of the fan base will be disgusted with this and with good reason.

I know I probably won't be missed but re-signing Brooks would be the end of the road for me.
If the club is so wholeheartedly committed to failing then it's really not worth it anymore.

If it hasn't worked next to Moses, Marshall, Hastings, Madden, Wakeham, Doueihi, Lolohea, Austin, Mbye, Reynolds it's not going to work against Johnson. It's never worked and it will never work.
From where Brooks was after round 4, you have to admire how he bounced back. He is a tough bugger. Even his strongest supporters thought he was done, yet he has really found some form and confidence. That impresses me. I truly believe no off season was the reason he started so badly. Now he has some miles in his legs he is playing better then he has in years.
I get that people want a change, and I wouldnt sit here and say you are wrong, I hear you. I'm torn on keeping him, but the way he has turned his form around leads me to believe his best is yet to come as 28+ seems to be the point we see the best in halves these days.
I'm more confident of getting Brooks playing well in 24 then Johnson.
