@avocadoontoast Agree allegedly 450k this year then up to 600k or 650k for the next 2 years.
I think Scott Fulton's arrival is going to put an end to WT signing any Isaac Moses clients moving forward. It will be interesting to see what happens with the remaining roster spot before June 30.
We can play Tasi James if required at NRL without promoting him to NRL because you're allowed to play guys from outside top 30 from Round 11. The 30th spot should be offered to a half if we can find one.

You’d reckon James comes in for Joe this week on the bench given he was named somewhat out of the blue on the extended bench.

MOST people predicted it and it’s ended up being bang on the money – new Wests Tigers head of recruitment Scott Fulton and ex-Wests Tigers recruitment manager Warren McDonnell have had their first blow-up.
And it’s happened in the very first meeting between the pair.
Fulton is a can-do operator and had heard McDonnell had been talking out of school about him.
So the Tigers new head of recruitment simply put it to McDonnell.
They both laid their cards out and there were certainly no backward steps.
Rest assured the differences have been resolved and neither is in any doubt about who sits in what role.
Fulton is now entirely responsible for the Wests Tigers top 30 list and has been busy trying to find some circuit breaking signings for the struggling club.
McDonnell will now be working in junior pathways.
It’s says a lot about the Wests Tigers front office that they’ve sacked McDonnell twice and then re-hired him.
Does that mean they’ve got it wrong three times?

Two men have discussion at workplace. More as it happens.
Classic Hoops.
The Wests Tigers have been accused of “desperation” after offering a $1.3 million deal to 32-year-old Warriors halfback Shaun Johnson.
Johnson has revitalised his career since rejoining the Warriors last year but he’s off contract at the end of this season and is currently free to sign with a rival club.
The veteran playmaker met with the Tigers last week where they tabled a two-year deal from 2024 worth $650,000 per season.
Johnson will turn 35 during the 2025 finals series but with a lack of halves on the open market, the Tigers believe he’s the best option while their promising juniors develop.
“Shaun Johnson has been in really good form for the Warriors, nobody can question that this year, but I still find it a strange play for the Tigers,” Braith Anasta said on NRL 360.
“There’s no halves on the market, that’s the issue for the Wests Tigers, they feel like they’ve got some really good young halves coming through who need a little bit of time to be ready for first grade and they need a stopgap solution,” Michael Carayannis responded.
“He’s been great this year for the Warriors, but that’s been at home.”
“I feel like he’s been great because of that, he’s gone home, his family is there, he’s happy and that’s why he’s playing well,” Anasta said.
James Hooper described it as “a left-field play” from the Tigers and pointed to Johnson’s struggles at the Sharks during his time in Sydney.
“Without his influence this year, there is no way the Warriors are going as strongly as they are and don’t sit where they are on the ladder,” Hooper said.
“But for the Tigers to take a risk on him at his age, bringing him back to Sydney, the fact he’s settled in New Zealand is a huge element as to why he’s been so successful.”
Gorden Tallis then asked the table if they thought it was a reflection of where the bottom-of-the-table Tigers are at as a club.
“It’s a little bit desperate, isn’t it. You’d think there has got to be a good young kid that’s going to play for the future because in two years time they’re going to go out and do exactly the same thing as they’re doing now,” Tallis said.
“They’ve had a crack at Munster, Moses, Pearce… they clearly want someone who is established and experienced that they feel can steer them around and win some games,” Hooper responded.

Could the Schuster stuff be happening in the background ?
remember it wasn’t but 3 weeks ago , getting him was all but a formality ?
I have no info , but disgruntled half , with a rich history with our new GM. And people like Anasta a few weeks ago saying it was all but guaranteed .We release a middle , which we haven’t been any stronger at any point in our whole history IMO. Frees up a lot of money …. For an overpriced half ?
Just speculating ….
Well that is disappointing. What did we get in return?Joe Ofahengaue has agreed to join Parramatta effective immediately on a 3 year deal. Ofahengaue has been shopped to rival clubs over the last month by WT (Telegraph)

Is it desperation? Yes
Is it the right move? Also Yes

Something's happening for sure. This has all happened since Fulton came on board so it would make sense. I hope so. I think Johnson/Schuster playing behind this pack could be potent.

Great discourse. Fox are pathetic.

Schuster will be a disaster as a 6 for us. He would make the perfect 13 though
I'm hearing that the joffa deal isn't true but all the media seems to be pointed in that direction. So we will see o guess.
In memory of Geoff Chisholm (1965-2022)
Scott Fulton would have a plan
we sign Koula for 2025 season and start agitating for a releas for 2024.
Manly let Koula go a year early if we take Schuster
We then have a 6 in Schuster for 2023 to partner brooks.
2024 we go for Johnson to partner Schuster and if he doesn't sign you can still sign Brooks as the 7 if you need to
All this talk of Joffa being shopped around explains his drop in form. He doesn’t seem right this year after being our best forward last year.
