Poor bugger...very difficult for him without a Contract for next year. I hope the Tigers sign him. IMO not going to be the fullback we need but very good winger and has good utility as a wing/FB back up.

@851 for him as much as us . I said it a couple of weeks ago , he’d go over to Catalans , and absolutely dominate the SL. Make similar money , win a few comps , become a legend , and come back a tigers alumni with none of the baggage , because by then everyone should have forgotten how much we have stabbed in the dark for 10 years , by actually winning footy matches .
@avocadoontoast Maybe ! I dunno maybe I’ve got Stockholm Syndrome . But I will say the big thing I personally believe , is his voice falls on deaf ears . And he doesn’t even get his players to say “what a dickhead” aka Moses . He just inspires indifference . Like “Brooks said something , did you hear that ? “
But hey , the night is darkest before the dawn . And I watch this team , and as I’m not as emotionally invested in a toxic way , as others , I see the huge stark difference in the team . I was reading through the teams in 2019 and 2020. And Jesus , were those squads horrendous . Our best backline players were guys like Thompson and Mahe Fonua . Think about that !!
We now have Bula, Tupou , Naden . Players we would have dreamt about back then . Yes that team won some games but it was just delaying the inevitable . All we have done since losing Tedesco and Moses , is kick rocks and hire serviceable players who just kept us above the bottom .
Brooks and Nofa need to go . Sure . I’m just concerned , as I really do believe there is a team , that not only can compete , but absolutely do some damage in this comp , with the right halves .

Yep I'd be happy for us to extend Staines on what he's done so far, and Naden too. They're pretty decent footballers and have a good attitude.
Surely Sheens can see his worth. I like what he has to offer.I wonder how it leaves him as he looks for a contract for next year.

Chad Townsend could be an option for 2024. Reports say he might be on the outer at the Cowboys.
After thinking about this, I'd certainly be making enquiries. AND going in for one of the young halves in SC that has pathways blocked, a running 6.
Townsend can bring the experience and organising and a young fella with some x-factor can play eyes up.

"eastiewestiemagpie" 🤣 is Charlie does everything at pace, very similar to how Gary Jack ran the ball back. I was taught that the quicker you get to the ball and return at top pace you reduce the yardage of advancing defense.
One of my pet hates of Lattrell Mitchell is he often strolls back but he makes up for that with raw talent and big body.
I think Charlie compliments the likes of Bula and Tupou.
