Only other real option is Jayden Sullivan from dragons but a bit unknown but contracted until end of 2025, they do have Amone and Hunt and Mmbye so maybe they might consider a release ?
Otherwise just invest in juniors such as Sanders and we wait 5 years and hope they don't get poached.
@jedi-tiger we need to move on from AD and Brooks in the halves. We need to sign someone who’s stuck in reserve grade like Toby Sexton or a rookie like Ethan Sanders and hope we can develop them into stars. Re-signing brooks will keep us going in circles.

What would anyone do if they were unemployed in 7 months time. He doesn't owe us to stay longer than contracted, just because he was injured.
My question is:
- did WT make an assessment and say, there's Maden, AJ, Toa, AD in front?
OR
- Did we get complacent and assume we had time, and Manly got to it first?
I think he is a talent that is yet to shine, and his best is obviously in front of him.

@declan not for 2 years 24 and 25 it wont as a 6 he can partner Sanders. As for AD don't know how he will come back
@tiger5150 well I’ve also seen sanders play with my own eyes and he looks good to me. We realistically also need to sign two halves so I would be taking him and Trindall if I could.
Ive seen him as well and he is a very good player against boys. Massive step up to cup let alone NRL. He is 2-3 years away. We need someone now (next year at the latest). Trindall I'd love but its not going to happen.

At present the club won't run with unproven halves, hence I think that is why Brooks gets a gig for at least 2024 and possibly 2025 not much put in the market. Sheens may just take the punt on Sanders if he has Brooks locked in at 6.

seriously. Bulldogs, titans and Eels have all been just as low as us at various points over the last 10 years. Even bulldogs who were a complete mess only a couple of years ago have recruited a long term 6 and 9 and look to be in line for the next 7. That is 💯 because they have management who knows what success looks like and how to run a club.
