That's our coin hitting the bottom of the wishing well.
The well has dried up and the coin didn't even get wet.
What we've currently got is it and Easter miracles has finished.
So let's get behind Wakeham and Brooks and the rest of the team and pray that the coaching staff can instill some confidence into the boys and get them united, confident and playing good footy.
Just accept it for this year and hopefully we can improve and maybe something might fall into our lap between now and 2024.

I spoke to Pascoe about this at the 10-year members' night on Thursday. He said "problem is, we have money to spend and no halves left to spend it on". I asked him if he saw the list of potential halfbacks posted on the weekend on zerotackle, he said "no, who is on the list?" I said "Kyle Flanagan, Sezer... I think even you and I made it onto the list towards the end". I also said "I think George Williams was on it" and immediately Pascoe says "well he's off the list this week".
@jirskyr incredibly bad management.
I had been hoping there was a plan behind all this, but they've really stuffed this up.
Fingers crossed for miracle - my preference is to go hard at a 7 playing in the super league - someone who has experience leading a team around under pressure.

You know who I want to sign, Phoenix Crossland.
Now hear me out.
Not as our 7, I see him being a good squad member who can fill holes when needed. I see him developing into a smart ball playing lock much like Hastings was for us. Apparently he lives and breathes footy, and that's something I like in young play makers. Watching him this year, he is improving quite a bit and will get better over the next few years.
If we could pick up a genuine 7, along with Pheonix as a back up and to play 14, I'll be happy. I'm happy with our fullback, and I would like to see Laurie at 6 to either rule out that option or maybe he nails it solving an issue.
We just have to get that 7 somewhere somehow.
We’ll sign a 7, there is too much money on the table not for someone to want to take it up. I just hope for. Brooksy if they are going to extend him as a 6 they wait until the 7 is in place.

Genuine question. Why is it horrible? By Pascoes answer its clear that they had investigated Williams and knew before hand that Williams was re-signing. It means that he and the club are investigating these options and he is correct there isnt anything really available.
