edwards or luai for 2025? Not sure exactly which one I would prefer, edwards is excellent and reliable but not sure he is something that is not able to be recreated. He is not proto typical super athlete/extra half that has been so dominant at 1 recently. Luai is probably a more unique talent but would be be worth it if we don’t have 7 to run the team.
doesn’t sound like panthers can keep both
I dont think either will be as successful outside the Pamfers system but I think Luai would be a disaster at the Tigers. Think peak bad Benji or Sean Johnson.

100% 5150. They are very good players within the Penrith system. I think they'd both be horrible with us.

Surely they are looking. I worry that everyone is saying no thanks due to the pressure of joining a team 0-6 mid season and being seen as a saviour. Too much for a rookie or a player returning from the UK.

It’s a pic of me and the great man himself, Wayne Pearce. Met him a couple of years ago for a fundraising thing for my daughter who has a disability. He must do a lot of these catch ups but he still seemed genuinely interested. Great when your childhood hero lives up to expectations.

I reckon this should be a selling point though. Imagine the fan love that will be poured on the player/s that take us to the finals. They will become a club legend within one season. Surely that appeals to some of the egos out there. It was part of the reason why I was convinced Moses would come tbh.
