Speaking as a 50 something yo bloke who lives within a km of where he grew up, married to an eastern european who has lived in 4 countries and visited every continent....Luke should be on the phone to Catalans (because they are french and near a beach) for the life experience more than anything else. He has a very young kid and NOW is the perfect time. Euro education is superior to Aus, the kid would learn another language. I hope he does for his own sake.

He is an impressive little fella, plays similar to Cronk.
First half he set up out wide then backed up inside to score a very NRL like try. And second hand threw a nice cutout for the winger to score out wide.
He did miss a tackle in the second half which nearly led to a try but apart from that he was all over the park, safe and plenty of energy.
What his story? Is he available next year.
I think if we were to raid the poms we would rather an experienced ½ like Williams imo.

He’s busy, attacks, solid kicking game. Contracted to 24 I believe , pfft what’s a contract these days as we know. Surely Bateman would have inside knowledge which uk players would do well in the nrl.
yes Cronk to me, was the best game manager ever to do it, but he also had players that knew their roles, were extremely well drilled, and had excellent footy IQ. We don’t, George Williams isn’t going to make kepoa or toa into diamonds.

I don’t foresee us blooding any young players, sheens never does. One minute kepoa is the best 2nd rower in the club with ice, then he’s a centre winger again, no wonder that Kitoga went to dogs - what message does that send him ?
I go to a lot of junior games here in Qld, got mates coaching at national school boy level.. they state they see scouts from cows, storm, broncos, St George, Canterbury at carnivals, school comps, Qld cup fixtures .. never other clubs like the tigers.

Feledy is over 18 now and is in Flegg, but will be avail for NRL rd11, so I'm not ruling out a shock inclusion but more likely next year if he continues to produce in lower grades.
The KOE team plays today before the main game on Foxsports 502. Check it out like I'm certainly going to. James is a player I'll be keeping an eye on.
