Reckon there might be more to the Hoffman release?

We are a bit light on centres and pretty much all the dogs have is outside backs

didnt get along with Madge, hence why he has asked for a release and moved to the dogs. Apparently

@kenny4517 Or more prevalent is that Madge can’t see talent. Pathway system here we come 😕

I genuinely cant see talent in Hoffman. Slow, poor defender, and now a lot heavier.

Reece Hoffman to depart Wests Tigers

Wests Tigers have today confirmed that Reece Hoffman has been released from the final year of his playing contract.

Hoffman joined the club in 2020 and became Wests Tigers Player #234 that season when he made his NRL debut against the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

Hoffman has been granted an immediate release from the final year of his contract to take up a deal with another NRL club.

Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe thanked Reece for his commitment to the club him all the best for the future.

“On behalf of all at Wests Tigers, I’d like to thank Reece for his efforts since joining the club in 2020,” Pascoe said.

“Reece is a great young man, and we wish him all the best in the next steps of his career.”

Hopefully this leads to another signing in our favour as it’s only a 1 year contract at the Bulldogs for Reece so no advantage to him really.

Finger's crossed we have something already lined up.

100%. He showed nothing for mine. Good decision to release him.

Considering we are very light in the centres and Hoffman is a player that could put his hand up for 3 or 4, I really hope we are making room in the roster for a reason.

Maybe the reports about Kei in Rd 1 are true ....throwing his toys out of his cot perhaps ....

That’s a good about Pauga! Not sure about Kei, seems to been talked about for ages but haven’t seen him play.

He was named at centre for round one by an article from (I think) Fox Sports.

Yes I haven’t seen much from Reece since he arrived seeing he was touted as the next big thing…

The people in the know at WestsTigers work with these kids day in day out, so they see who’s constantly improving to those who have become stagnant with little to no  improvement.
