This new development confirms to me that Mitch is all about the cash. Whom ever pays the most will get his signature.

Mitch’s next contract would be lucky to be half what this one is per year so that last year is a massive difference between the bids. Maybe I’m wrong, maybe the eels have found their limit.
If eels deal falls over at this late point does it cause so much angst that the early release deal also comes back into play?
@tiger5150 Was simply put that after his lastest meeting with the Eels that he was RE-signing with them…..nothing more really. But in the last 2 day things have changed.
An “impression” was given that Eels will add a 5th year option on their latest release offer but has since not eventuated.Tigers willing to make deal 5 years outright.

I know the Moses drama has dragged out longer than Moses exodus in the desert.
But, if we do happen to land him, it's a huge game changer for us.
There are so many competitive teams in that 6-12 band, if we land Moses, on top of api and put forwards, we push ourselves to a top 6 team.
Once we are there, it's so much easier to both recruit and retain good players.
I'm not a huge fan if him, but think he may help take us to the promised land.
