2022 is looking very dark, so to part with Brooks without getting a suitable replacement would be madness. I guess if the club has written the season off and just treating it as a building year, than their maybe a argument to cut the chord and start it fresh, but personally he stays for 22 given AD probably will struggle after his surgery and Madden still has a fair way to go.

Gotta say I’ve seen absolutely nothing in Madden to suggest he’s part of any success for us next year or any year after that. Hope I’m wrong though

I have seen some positives but he definitely needs more time.

In memory of Geoff Chisholm (1965-2022)

I thought he went pretty well in the second last match of the year, can’t recall who that was against, and showed some good signs.

Brooks birthday today, I wonder if the Knights will send him a gift 😆

To me Roberts adds veteran presence and an additional link the aboriginal pathways we have set up. He will be bugger all and from all reports is well liked. We have enough young lads even if he doesn't play a lot of 1's

I thought he had a go every time he played, was poor in defence at times but wasn't on his own there.

He’s never been a noted defender.

Our noted defenders could live in a box in the middle of the street and not be disturbed

Does @Declan McCutcheon know? I’m sure he’d want to send his favourite player a card at the very least 😂

If they do that then, cut the cord and admit 22 is going to be a right off surely memberships should be slashed. I remember when Go said we would not be competive for a couple of years they still took all our cash. Really if you are not going to be competive don't charge full dollar. Esp if you admit it before the start of the season.

I remember Graham Lowe take over manly in 90. When asked is this a rebuild season? He said no. Our fans that buy memberships will see a team winning most weeks. If you are not sure about buying one this is good value....only certain clubs accept not being competive and others do. Imagine after a crap 10 years telling someone...next year is crap too. And people accepting it?

The good thing is they have a 3 year plan to make us a consistant top 8 club. So its only take us 10 years to decide to be a consistant top 8 club?

The promise of this team’s real competitiveness is always estimated to be 2-3 years away. We’ve blown a decade spinning our wheels and making very little progress so it’s hard to be too optimistic and forgiving.

I read that the knights have 650k under their cap. Any suggestion of shipping Brooks off should include the club he is going to paying full freight and a transfer fee
