The Sheens interview with Buzz Rothfield made it pretty clear that Brooks is not happy playing under Madge. The media wasnt exactly making up the fact that Brooks was not happy as some fans (at least me!) might have thought.

I think Isaac Moses is seriously pushing for Brooks to move behind the scenes. For that reason, I'd be open to at least considering releasing Brooks but if I was WT management I'd be saying to Moses 'you go to market and find us a half to replace him and we can discuss.'

Knights would have to take his full contract as part of any deal.

I just can't see us getting another half to replace him at this point, even with the support of his manager.

Releasing Brooks to the Knights would be the dumbest thing amongst some dumb things the Tigers have done or could do, why strengthen another team to weaken our own?

Personally I think we should cut LL free and get the Cows to pay the dogs to get Thompson, that would still leave us 1 spot open and improve our pack without spending any money.

I’d love it if we could ditch LL for Thompson for 2022!

I think its best long term if Brooks and the club part ways. Just too much baggage now, think it's all got to him been really disappointed his form the past 2 years.

However options are threadbare this season. So I am kind of with Garry - unless he can get something tangible keep him and see how he works with Hastings.

All depends on who or what we can get in return imo.

We don't have enough in the halves, so unless it is a decent half I wouldn't be letting him go.

To me Roberts adds veteran presence and an additional link the aboriginal pathways we have set up. He will be bugger all and from all reports is well liked. We have enough young lads even if he doesn't play a lot of 1's

I thought he had a go every time he played, was poor in defence at times but wasn't on his own there.

He’s never been a noted defender.

It was a disaster having him, Nofa and AD defending together.
