What are goal kicking options this year is it just Douhie and Brooks?
A little worried if that is it
Good question. Id say Doueihi is first option, then Brooks. I don’t think there are any other options.

Good moaning,Mr Helmut. I would say five tings to your photograph.
1.We do not need a player who cannot vacuum his carpet.
2. We do not need a player who cannot pick up his socks off the floor.
3. I hate cats (small ones), they remind me of Napoleon.
4. Perhaps the bag is being packed, to visit the Big House!!!!!!

Bonjour Monsieur La Grenouille (Mr The Frog)
I totally agree, My OCD kicked in when I finally had the courage to click on the Suspected Suspicious Link posted by Joel.
Bateman, retake the photo! and get an American Staffie.
Anyway, I think that the recruitment of Bateman will bode well for our credibility as a club on the rise after a very long decade of failure.

SHEENS’ SECRET BROWN TALKS
Tim Sheens has secretly met Parramatta Eels forward Nathan Brown as he looks to further strengthen Wests Tigers’ pack. The pair were spotted having a coffee at Bar Biscotti in Strathfield on Wednesday.
Brown is under contract to the Eels next season but was given permission to negotiate with rival clubs midway through last season.
He was not used by coach Brad Arthur at the back end of the season until finally getting a start in the 17-man grand final squad.
Wests Tigers have already strengthened their pack with the additions of Dave Klemmer, Isaiah Papali’i and hooker Api Koroisau.
Adding Brown, 29, would leave them with one of the more experienced forward packs in the comp.
Brown would play at lock, the position originally earmarked for Jackson Hastings before he quit the club to play halfback for Newcastle Knights
We need a backup half more than anything.
Also its a bit of a concern that we are filling up roster spots before the 2023 salary cap is known. Smart clubs will leave 2-3 spots open and budget accordingly once the final figure.
@mickb That's a good point Mick. But maybe if we can get off to a better start in the season, by having a strong pack, then we will be able to negotiate with any future players from a firmer footing. Or, as has been stated elsewhere, more roster spots might open up before the start of the season. I think N Brown and Moses are close too, read into that what you will.

I agree, I think it’s about trying to change perspectives and momentum asap. What happened with Albert Kelly? I thought he was in the picture for a NSW cup contract?

Isiah Papalii signed on the 18th of November. Api korosiau on the 3rd of December. Surely we must be close to knowing who our 2024 recruits are.

I wouldn't be surprised if the lack of a CBA is slowing up player signings.
In memory of Geoff Chisholm (1965-2022)
Actually, I dont recall hearing about any players signing for new clubs a year out just yet.
At least no big fish
- @spartan117 You get the feeling once the CBA is clear and settled there will be some very busy managers, finally earning their commission. Kind of have to hand it to Sheensy to sign the players he has already signed. If he lands Bateman, and it looks as if he has, he’s doing pretty well particularly when you think about where we’re coming from.
Have to wonder if signing forwards mainly was a strategy implemented by Sheens. A large turnover of backs would obviously cost more (good halves, fullbacks and centres not cheap) than forwards. Maybe by contracting some new forwards now at reasonable cost would not only improve the team but leave them with enough to have a good crack at a back or two. Certainly you’d think the club will be more than competitive when making offers to backs they want and who would be in great demand.
Henry O’Kane has joined the Sharks on a Train and Trisl deal.
