@garry Hastings not in Sheens plans … But Brooks who has failed every season under multiple coaches is apparently! Never liked the quick Sheens elevation just seemed like desperation .. it’s not so much Hastings being shown the door it’s the unhinged thinking that a failure for 9 seasons is still being protected for what ever reason .. but the favourites are back for the 2023 season just as it was back in the day with Sheens as coach .

To me its not a Brooks V Hasting V AD thing. We need to look outside our club to improve our halves.

The Sheens/ Buzz relationship is a strange one, a couple of months ago Buzz was pushing the line that Sheens/ Benji was his idea, now he is into Sheens at every opportunity.

Maybe Brooks and Nofoaluma are the Chairman and major sponsors favourite players.

@benji-brasher interesting when it was Buzz about Brooks some on here took it as gospel

do think if Hastings wants to play 7 in 2024 it will have to be at another club not tigers

I said 8 weeks ago Brooks had no real interest in Newcastle, he may well still not be here in 2024 though but don't think it will be Newcastle still believe parramatta is a big chance for brooks

Do wonder if Hastings signs in 2024 if he uses a release in 2023 to get klemmer, makes some sense as he can play Bateman at 13 or Joffa to cover.

Looks like any chance of getting Klemmer now is a Hastings swap.

@helmesy you know I don't think klemmer is worth it and I don't think tigers should be looking at swapping Hastings or Brooks for 2023 why strengthen another team... 

Douhie seems to be the player nobody is talking about where does he fit in for 2024 ?

I don’t know about Doueihi but I reckon he is long odds to be our five-eight next year.
