Every win had him in it but where he plays varies, kind of hope he sticks around 2023 at 13 but wouldn't get too upset if he left to play 7 elsewhere

Brooks doesn't play halfback in attack in the Sheens '3 halves' attacking structure. He sits on the left side as a 5/8 with zero game management responsibilities. Hastings may have been wearing the 13 but in attack he was playing 7. Brooks wasn't at all.
I'm confused why anyone would want Brooks calling the shots from halfback. When he DID play there we didn't win a single game.

We didn't win a game. Brooks isn't a halfback. If he stays in the team it will be 5/8, definitely not halfback.

The reason Hastings played the halfback role is because Sheens doesn't think Brooks is a halfback. Noone does.

@helmesy Playing the out of towners takes the pressure off the club , they can not be accused of locking there supporters out if playing a Sydney club .. GA will be $40 I reckon next season at Leichhardt.

I'm saying he doesn't see him as a halfback. He sees him as a 5/8 which is where he played him as soon as Madge got booted.
Hastings didn't play like a Yeo or Murray, he defended at lock but played attack as halfback with 2x 5/8's. I'm not sure why you cannot admit this?
