@helmesy I’d be happy enough with these two inclusions. It’s a upgrade on our forwards from ‘22.
Just a side note on our halves also, I don’t see the need for the ‘three halves’ idea that was slated and used last season. We just need a 6/7 whether it be

We are all forgetting we now will have a 9 in API that will guide us around so much better than recent seasons. One thing we must get right is our pack though. As I said I’d be happy enough with Brown and Woods to be signed on. Klemmer Bateman or Frizell would be a step up but I don’t really mind to be honest.

I've heard Klemmer's agent has spoken to Manly, Roosters, Parra, Dolphins and WT. He's in high demand, it's not cut and dried. He's building a new house on the water at Lake Maquarie so I don't think he's going north. That leaves 4. WT are offering most though, like you said, full freight. That sounds to me like we are very, very interested.

I have no reason to be, just reading the tea leaves from various media articles, but I am getting a good feeling about Bateman. Both our chances of gettinghim as well as what we will get from him. I think he fits a "sheens" model, fast, mobile backrower. Also a good contract with Papali'i. Also with Bateman, papli'i, Hastings (?), Joffa, there is a lot of ball playing ability on the edges.
@tiger5150 I kind of agree Bateman looks like a done deal.
I am getting less confident we will get klemmer though, I think Woods will be who we land instead of klemmer

How would everyone feel about the club sacrificing Hastings to get Klemmer?
