I agree with a lot of people's thoughts here in that I kind.of think.we dodged a bullet with cotric. 500k for a winger that really hasn't proved he can play centre seemed alot. In saying that I wasn't against it.

@hodgo I was the same. Happy if we got him, not unhappy if we didn’t.

The Broncos are reportedly set to offer Delouise Hoeter a 12-month deal, six years after he last played in the NRL.

The former Wests Tigers outside back played seven NRL games in 2015 and also has one Test for Tonga to his name.

The 27-year-old has been bouncing around various Queensland Cup teams in recent years – including a stint with Wynnum Manly.

Brisbane gave Hoeter a train-and-trial deal and he has impressed so much that he’ll be given a shot at an NRL comeback in 2022, according to The Daily Telegraph.

Sad this thread hasn’t been added to for 2 days. All very quiet and looks we will begin the after Christmas training still in need of a few good first grade standard players. Familiar feeling unfortunately

@tigersteve  I like the Herbie Farnsworth idea. I’ve always rated him , when the Cobbo types all got the hype . He’s a faster more agile momo IMO

We’re bottom 4 at this stage imo. We really needed to add a couple of players to make us more competitive. 2023 is looking better but I think 2022 will be painful.

I'm not really interested in players that will miss games due to what in my opinion are poor life choices.

He’d still be a handy asset.

And when we play an important game in QLD and he can't play?

I know, still we would have had no chance of getting him otherwise and maybe the rules will change.

@garry Sorry Garry, but I don't think you can judge peiples choices regarding medical decisions unless you know their situation.

He's not doing anything illegal and it's not mandated by NRL. The Victorian rules make it difficult to play for storm - however I doubt the rules stay in for the whole season.

If he signed for wests he could play 19 or 24 games. If you play SOS you miss around 4 games.

We've signed plenty of players who have missed games for much 'worse' bad choices.

I'd sign him for sure

I’m all for making a play for NAS if it’s an option. He’d be a great pick up and the landscape will change as the year progresses. We play out 19 out of 24 games are in Sydney/NSW well worth it.

And if our first final in 11 years is in Brisbane.
