I used to rate Read quite highly (compared to most other journos) but this year he seemed to get down in the gutter with the rest of them.
I actually still think that Laurie has a lot of potential and this new attacking focus will benefit him.

@declan Jeez Brent Read gets plenty of wrong mail like Michelle Bishop ch 7 does e.g. Brooks to Newcastle etc
Think this if it happens woukd not be the worst thing to be fair, especially if we can grab Rueben Garrick or Charlie Staines they can both cover Laurie
My understanding was that brooks wanted out but Sheens said no, making his reporting accurate.

@tiger5150 apparently don't know how true this is but my physio friend who is loosely attached to sharks was saying he was talking around the traps and the hold up with Nu Brown is the dogs they need to shed one or two players from the roster before they can sign him
