@declan I know I think that is who tried to get him last year but Brisbane knocked the release back.

The Broncos just can’t avoid a crisis. Last week it was Ben Ikin and Kevvie Walters. This week it’s arguably rugby league’s best teenager, Karl Oloapu.
The 17-year-old five-eighth was player of the tournament at the Australian Schoolboys. He has plenty of size and could finish up as a lock-forward. He just doesn’t want to be at the Broncos. Oloapu has a three-year contract with the Broncos that was done under his previous agent. Now the rookie wants out.
His minders say he didn’t fully understand the contract. His new agent, Matt Adamson, says the youngster is so determined to leave that he is prepared to sit out of football for a substantial period.

It’s very possible. As Read says, if Sheens is able to get rid of Brooks we’re in a position to go after both for big money. Read says he wants them as our halves, no mention of Munster at FB. Brooks gone

Jedi - Sheens is going after Moses and Munster because he doesn’t want Brooks there. He’ll only be there in ‘23 if he can’t get anyone else. All the talk from Sheens is to drive the price up.

@avocadoontoast Also worth noting Read like Michelle Bishop on SEN and Ch 7 has been pushing Brooks to Newcastle for the last year.
If he leaves wests tigers I don't think it will be Newcastle, it will be Parramatta in 2024, that is what I got told a week ago.

I would be stoked if we got Munster and Moses I can't see us getting munster, think Moses might be a possibility though.
